For the places we love

I create wonky ink and watercolour illustrations of pubs ‘n’ places we love and into useable art

What are you looking for?

  • A hand-drawn illustration of a historic hotel building labeled 'Bank Hotel' with flags, including a rainbow flag, hanging outside. The hotel has a sign for live music, garden bar & dining, and a public bar, with decorative architectural details on the facade.

    Pub Portraits

One-off portraits of Inner West institutions.

Hand-drawn ink and watercolour portraits of much-loved local pubs no ai here — every wonky line telling a story. No two are the same, just like no two pubs are the same.

Each piece is completely unique, made to live proudly on your walls.

  • Pubs 'n' Places Tea Towels

Your favourite Newtown Pubs ‘n’ Places all on one tea towel.

Hand drawn and painted by me. 100% cotton, printed in Sydney.

Inner West icons. Ready to hang, or dry the dishes, your choice

  • Custom Coasters

Hand-drawn coasters featuring your venue, illustrated in ink and watercolour.
Made to live on the bar, go home in pockets, and become part of pub folklore.

HEY! I’M Eli,

I’m an Inner West based illustrator drawing hand-sketched portraits of local venues, think corner pubs and beer gardens to neighbourhood cafés and icons of the Inner West. Everything is hand drawn in ink and watercolour — wonky lines, warm details, and plenty of local-legend energy.

I work with venues to create original artworks, limited prints, coasters, and custom merch, designed to live on your walls, your bar, and in your patrons’ hands.

Local first.

Independent always.

Drawn with heart.

A close-up of a woman with short, reddish hair, wearing black glasses with colorful eye makeup, including pink, yellow, and orange eyeshadow. She has a blue patterned headscarf and a black top, and is smiling slightly. The background contains black-and-white photo displays and a poster that reads 'A million to one.'
